UN secretary general to visit UAE

United Nations spokesperson Martin Nesirky has announced that United Nations secretary general Ban Ki Moon will visit the UAE on Sunday as part of his tour to a number of African and European countries.

 Nesirky said Moon’s visit to the UAE is part of the tour that will take him to Ethiopia, Austria and Switzerland.

While in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa, he continued, the UN secretary general will attend the signing ceremony of the regional peace agreement framework intended to restore the peace in Eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
