The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi to the Governor General of Australia, Quentin Bryce. The Governor-General stressed the strong relations between Libya and Australia, also asked Ambassador Allafi to convey her greetings to the Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. The Governor-General wished the ambassador Allafi every success in his mission. In the evening, the Governor General and her husband, Mr. Price held a reception in honour of the Ambassador Misbah Abdul Qadir Allafi, and a number of other ambassadors.
