Al-Rahi thanking The Great State of Australia and Bishop Tarabay for his efforts

Patriarch Al-Rahi  from Sydney: " Healthy Family ... Healthy Society"

Sydney had received on Friday Patriarch Mar Bechara Boutros al-Rahi, in a majestic ceremony, in participation of a number of communities and churches leaders.

The visit will last two weeks, where he will meet Australian personalities and the sons of the Maronite community as well as leaders and sons of the Lebanese community.

In an interview with the media in the VIP lounge at Sydney Airport, patriarch al-Rahi thanked the great State of Australia which received and incubated a large section of Lebanese.

He stressed on the unity and solidarity, especially in these difficult circumstances afflicting the Arab countries, stressing that the church is in service of human and family to overcome all the challenges, saying: (Healthy Family ... healthy society).

Patriarch Al-Rahi made a Special thanks to Pastor Bishop Antoine Charbel Tarabay, for the efforts made over all the year, to arrange this pastoral visit. He greeted the bishops, heads of communities and churches who came to the airport to participate in his greeting.
