Lebanese President Meets Australian Foreign Minister

Beirut– The Lebanese President Michel Sleiman met here Wednesday with the Australian Foreign Minister Bob Carr,who is currently on a visit to Beirut.

The two sides reviewed the bilateral relations and means of enhancing them.

For his part,the Australian diplomat affirmed his country support to Lebanon’s soverignity , independence and territorial integrity as well as its readiness to assist in holding the international conference to discuss the issue of the Syrian displaced people.

The minister Senator Bob Carr visited outgoing Prime Minister Najib Mikati at the Grand Serail accompanied by Ambassador Lex Bartlem and the delegation.
