BERLIN-- Kuwait will take part in the 55th Session of the Munich Security Conference, which will kick off tomorrow (Friday), said Najib Al-Bader, Ambassador to Germany on Thursday.

Chief of National Security Bureau Sheikh Thamer Ali Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah will be heading the Kuwaiti delegation to the three-day event, he told KUNA.

The annual conference would also see the participation of a significant number of heads of state and government, in addition to hundreds of defense, foreign and interior ministers from across the globe, as well as security and military experts.

Combating terrorism, as well as concerns over nuclear military confrontations will feature high on the Conference's agenda, in addition to discussing means of addressing security challenges in the world, mainly conflicts in the Middle East, cyber security and disarmament among others, the Ambassador noted.

He also pointed out that the Conference would provide a platform for holding bilateral meetings between the Kuwaiti delegation and other participants.
