Prime Minister Turnbull addressed the Business Council of Australia

Hi Camil,

Last night I addressed the Business Council of Australia and wanted to update you - directly - on two key points and what they mean for you and your family:

1. Whether you’re starting out in your first job, a worker providing for your family, or a business hiring staff, our goal is always to leave more money in your pocket, not in ours.

2. While there is more to do, I am actively working with the Treasurer to ease the burden on middle-income Australians, while also meeting our commitment to return the budget to surplus.

This is my commitment to you:

Best wishes,

Malcolm Turnbull

PS. We’re also addressing the costs of living wherever we can including power prices, housing affordability, childcare and private health insurance. Read more
