His Highness the Kuwait Amir, Iraq Pres. hold official discussions

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received at Bayan Palace Monday the visiting Iraqi President Fuad Masum and the accompanying delegation.

After the reception, the two Arab leaders held a meeting, commencing the official talks between Iraq and Kuwait.

The meeting was attended by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf, Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, in addition to senior Kuwaiti and Iraqi officials.

Deputy Minister of the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah said the meeting focused on ways to bolster ties as well as issues of mutual interests.
