Abdullah bin Zayed and Prime Minister of Georgia explore strengthening relations in various fields

TBILISI-- H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met on Tuesday with Giorgi Kvirikashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia, to explore ways of bolstering joint cooperation relations, as part of Sheikh Abdullah's official visit to Georgia.

The two sides also reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East and exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed the UAE's keenness to strengthen its cooperation relations with Georgia and develop them in various fields for the benefit of the peoples of the two friendly nations.

Kvirikashvili welcomed the UAE Minister's visit to his country, expressing Georgia's reciprocated efforts to strengthen its bilateral relations with the UAE.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Jassim Mohammed Mubarak Al Qasimi, UAE non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Georgia.

TBILISI-- Giorgi Margvelashvili, President of Georgia, received on Tuesday H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, who is on an official visit to Georgia.

During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to the Georgian President, wishing the people of Georgia further progress and prosperity.

President Margvelashvili in return asked the UAE Minister to convey his greetings to President Sheikh Khalifa, wishing him good health, and the people of the UAE further prosperity.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of bolstering and developing them in various fields. They also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common concern, and developments in the Middle East region.

The Georgian President welcomed Sheikh Abdullah's visit, praising the distinguished relations that the UAE and Georgia share. President Margvelashvili also expressed his hope to see mutual cooperation reach new levels in various fields.

Sheikh Abdullah also stressed the importance of strengthening joint cooperation and for working together on areas that benefit the peoples of both countries.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Jassim Mohammed Mubarak Al Qasimi, UAE non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Georgia.
