On his feast Day... Saint Charbel maker of miracles: A lady cured of cancer

(Translation of this article appears in Arabic section)

On his feast day, the saint of Lebanon and Miracles St. Charbel did not want his memory to be unnoticed. As it is known, his miracles are so many in Lebanon as well as in the whole world. And the last one took place two days ago with this lady in the picture.

This woman was suffering from cancer that had reached an advanced stage, prompting doctors to confirm to her family their inability to do anything to help her recover from the malignant disease and gave her a maximum of two weeks to survive. On the night of St Charbel's feast, the unthinkable happens.

That night, they said that St. Charbel appeared to this woman and gave her a liquid to drink without knowing what it was. she spokes with him and asked him, "How can I tell them what happened with me and I was not able to speak?" Replied to her: "Wait for a signal from me ." Indeed, the next day the woman woke up with the sign of the cross and the "rosary" on her neck, knowing that the rosary was not with her, but with her daughter who was praying with it. The saint asked her to wait for another sign from him 15 days later which coincides with the feast of Transfiguration.

Indeed, after what happened with the lady, she stood up and walked alone knowing that she was unable to move or speak.

Perhaps in a time that lacks of faith, St. Charbel wanted to bring us back to prayer, piety and to remind us that happiness is not in the crusts we are in, but in returning to the Lord with all our might.
